Work in Progress​

  • In today's working session, team just answered customer's inquiry on Sync such as scalability and permissions between the Aspera servers
  • We went through logging

Issues/questions faced​

  • Customer would like to disable Sync Session Stats from logs and only show errors
  • Customer wants Aspera to run like a batch job instead of syncing 24/7
  • Customer wants to know more about Aspera console and adding new aspera server to managed nodes

Currently Tracking​

  • Customer will continue to play around with Aspera Sync

  • Will answer current and future question of the customer till next followup meeting

Work in Progress​

  • Today the team guided the customer on configuring their Aspera to work with Sync. The client has already installed and applied the licenses beforehand.

Issues/questions faced​

  • Desired customer transfer user was not made properly and had issues such as not being in /etc/passwd.
  • Client had two servers, A and B. A was unable to initiate sync to B while B was able to do it to A. It was later confirm that there was conflicting policies on A only.

  • Customer will play around with Aspera Sync

Next Steps​

  • Client wishes to redo the configuration from scratch in the next working session to understand and learn more about Aspera Sync
